In Eastern families most women are housewives and are busy with housekeeping, raising children, taking care of their husbands and their parents. However, every-day life that consists of the same chores is most likely to affect the mental
well-being of women in today’s world of globalization. Taking into account the issues of gender equality in the society, developing mechanisms for providing them with not only legal, but also socio-economic and psychological support. They also try to alleviate the problem by keeping them occupied with other activities related to their interest and hobby. but even this cannot be a perfect solution to solve the problems of housewives in the society. This scientific work is devoted to the study of the socio-psychological characteristics of housewives, psychology-related problems of housewives and their solutions, the analysis of orderly methods of diagnosing and correcting the ‘housewife syndrome’
