This article is devoted to the prevention of chemical dependence in higher educational institutions. The educational and preventive program is an area of pedagogical activity in which practical psychology, modern pedagogy and the ideas of medical prevention are closely intertwined. The life skills training program is aimed at a wide range of risk factors and protective factors and is implemented by teaching a combination of general personal and social skills, the ability to resist drug use.

Pedagogical activity is a professional function that plays a significant role in the implementation of the socio-educational goals of society and involves interaction and collaboration between parents, teachers, and students in the educational process.
