This article examines the role of women in preschool, primary, secondary, specialized, and vocational education in Uzbekistan, focusing on the historical development of their participation in the educational sphere. Since the early 20th century, women’s involvement in teaching and educational reforms has significantly increased, contributing to improvements in academic
quality and social development. The study highlights the growing engagement of women in pedagogical activities, their influence on teaching and upbringing processes, and historical changes aimed at promoting gender equality in the education system.

The article explains the actuality of adaptation of preschool children to preschool education, the role and opportunities of the family in this process in accordance with the state order. The available scientific and pedagogical research and experience in solving the problem are analyzed. The optimal ways of supporting parents for the social adaptation of children have been studied.

The article is devoted to the analysis of psychological factors of adaptation of children in early childhood to the conditions of preschool education organization. Based on the analysis of the literature, it is shown that there is a relationship between the conditions of adaptation between boys and girls, the number of children in the family and the duration of the adaptation period. Based on the analysis of psychological-pedagogical literature, practical recommendations were developed for the faster and safer adaptation of the child to the socio-cultural environment of the preschool educational institution aimed at optimizing the adaptation of children to the conditions of the preschool educational institution.
