This article analyzes international approaches to developing digital competence and examines the use of digital technologies in the education systems of different countries. Programs and strategies aimed at developing digital competence in the European Union, the United States, Singapore, China, India, and Uzbekistan are analyzed. The features and advantages of each country’s digital education policy are shown, as well as the differences and interdependencies between them. The efforts implemented within the framework of Uzbekistan’s “Digital Uzbekistan” program and approaches to developing digital education are also highlighted.
