Topical issue of sociological analysis is the main issues and aspects of family values, various stages of formation and development of a young family as a component of the social institution of the family and its specific functions, material and spiritual needs of a young family, their causes and consequences, as well as ways to achieve them are discussed in this article. In addition, using the example of young families, opinions were expressed on the influence of such events as significant
changes in marital and family values in modern society and the solution of family problems.

The article examines conflicts that arise in young families as a socio-psychological phenomenon, causes, types, and ways of resolving conflicts are analyzed as well. The importance of developing effective communication and problem-solving skills for strengthening relationships and stability of a young family is emphasized.

This article covers in detail the psychological characteristics of conflicts in a couple’s relationship in young families, the causes and consequences of their origin. An empirical study conducted in the Jizzakh region K. Thomas identified a number of discrepancies between urban and rural respondents based on his methodology of interpersonal relations. The results suggest that urbanization and gender role conflict exacerbate conflict by offering elimination through Family Psychology centers, trainings, and preventative counseling as its solution.
