The article examines the influence of family relationships and parenting styles on the development of children’s creative thinking. It analyzes the role of the family environment, parental attitudes, and the nature of parent-child interactions in shaping creative competencies. Various parenting styles – authoritarian, overprotective, partner-oriented, and others – and their impact on child behavior are discussed. Particular attention is given to the negative consequences of a lack of emotional closeness and abusive behavior, such as aggressive tendencies and a decrease in creative thinking.
