This article presents information about the didactic possibilities of organizing independent education based on a creative approach in higher education institutions. It is emphasized that independent education is a systematic activity aimed at forming theoretical knowledge, practical
skills and qualifications based on independent mastering of educational material, assignments of different levels of complexity, creative and independent performance of practical tasks in the audience and outside the audience. Independent works differ from each other depending on their didactic purpose, task, level of complexity, and who they are intended for (individual or team). In addition, it is very important to use creative methods in the organization of independent education of students.

This highlights the role of parents in developing students’ creative abilities, the psychological and pedagogical environment created in the process of family upbringing, and the significance of the gender equality factor. The influence of fathers and mothers on children’s thinking, creative imagination, and self-expression is also analyzed from a scientific perspective. The further
presents national and international experiences, practical examples, and proposed methods for creating a creative environment in family education.

This article discusses the issues of family and family education, raising children in the family and the formation of their knowledge, thinking, worldview, and creative traits. Emphasis is placed on several aspects of the formation of creative traits in the younger generation based on family education. The experience of foreign countries and the views of Eastern thinkers in determining creative traits in young people are highlighted. Also, some results of a study conducted among parents in the
formation of creative traits in young people are considered.
