This article details the large-scale reforms being implemented in our country to ensure the strength of families, as well as the development of modern, prosperous family and makhalla. The article also reflects the work of the Research Institute «Mahalla and Family» under the Ministry of Mahalla and Family Support.

This article analyzes the legal procedures for family protection in Uzbekistan based on the Constitution and legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Reforms implemented by our state in the area of protection and development of the institution of the family are also discussed.

The family circle method is a process that allows individuals to draw a schematic diagram of their family system. It is closely allied with family systems theory and family medicine philosophy. The method is readily understandable with brief instructions. Individuals can create a family circle drawing in as little as two or three minutes. Once instructions are given, the presence of the physician is not required during the drawing. Family circle drawings will often illustrate, in graphic form, patterns of closeness and distance, of power and decision making, of family alliances and boundaries. The drawings provide at a glance an overview of the family system as seen by the person who does the drawing. The drawings are a rich source of information concerning family dynamics and are useful for setting goals for changes in the family system.

This article analyzes the views of Eastern scholars on family and family relationships. Their views detail not only family matters, but also family upbringing and ethics, and these views can still be used today in preparing young people for family life, meaning they have not lost their relevance even today.

Topical issue of sociological analysis is the main issues and aspects of family values, various stages of formation and development of a young family as a component of the social institution of the family and its specific functions, material and spiritual needs of a young family, their causes and consequences, as well as ways to achieve them are discussed in this article. For instance, after a divorce, children may face deprivation of financial, emotional, and time-related resources.

In the article it is said that today in order to improve the socio-spiritual environment in the family, first of all, it is necessary to improve the relationship between the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law, eliminate mutual conflicts to preserve the sanctity of the family and its stability in religious beliefs, which impacts on its socio-spiritual environment. This article philosophically analyzes the effect of the phenomenon of women’s migration

In recent years in Uzbekistan significant work has been carried out to ensure the rights and interests of women, to strengthen the institution of the family in all aspects. But despite this, there are cases of gender discrimination against women in the society. It is observed that these cases are committed in the family, at the workplace, on the street, and in educational institutions. In addition, there are insufficient opportunities to collect and comprehensively analyze the statistical data that describes the state of violence, the management of the system for early detection and prevention of harassment and violence against women of different ages, legal support, in this field, the rules of interaction of the subjects of the prevention system and the presence of shortcomings in the technologies, issues related to the effectiveness of a comprehensive approach to this issues are the problems that await the solution. Among them, cases of violence committed in the workplace and educational institution are
less researched, and in this regard, the problem is hidden even among women. A sociological survey was conducted in order to study the opinion of women on this problem, to determine the causes and factors of harassment and violence in work teams and educational institutions. The article provides an analysis of the results of the sociological research. At the same time, the article focuses on the work carried out to support women in our country, to prevent the cases of gender discrimination and the concept of harassment, which is one of its types, and offers suggestions and recommendations for preventing oppression and violence against women.

In modern society, the institution of the family has undergone profound changes, which is manifested, first of all, in the replacement of the desire to have several children with other, more socially prestigious desires. The demographic policy of society is aimed at changing this situation. The birth of several children becomes a priority task from the point of view of the state. However, popular stereotypes are such that large families are ambiguously assessed as a phenomenon and condition for
the psychosocial development of children. Therefore, one of the urgent problems is the study of sociocultural factors affecting the dynamics of psychological development of adolescents growing up in large families.
