The article describes the psychological changes that occur in the process of women’s adaptation to political, social and economic reforms carried out in society. The main attention is focused on different views, causes and interpretations of the concept of women’s social activity, which have become the subject of discussions among representatives of various fields. In
accordance with this, the psychological characteristics associated with the social activity of a woman, the factors influencing her, values and the author from a theoretical and practical point of view distinguishes life strategies.

As a result of intensive research on the problems of ethnic identity in the past decades, a completely new theoretical and practical direction has appeared in psychology. It is possible to single out approaches that take into account the characteristics of the formation and development of identity, its functions, structure, elements that have a unique character. Such factors as mentioned above put before the public the priority tasks of educating today’s youth to be loyal to national culture and values. This article analyzes the socio-pedagogical aspects of the development of gender culture in the family, as well as the socio-pedagogical factors that create modern forms of gender culture. It is emphasized that it is necessary to form the culture of specific roles, relationships and behavior in cooperation with the family, neighborhood and educational institutions.
