This article discusses the concept of digital pedagogy, its role and importance in the education system. The main trends in the development of digital competence of students are considered, including interactive technologies, distance learning and heuristic approaches. The state and development prospects of Uzbekistan in the field of digital pedagogy are analyzed. We will consider recommendations for the introduction of artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies to form
digital competence, the development of critical thinking and teaching digital safety.

The need for digital platforms in the field of education is growing, these platforms not only modernize the educational process, but also open up new opportunities for students and teachers to acquire and impart knowledge. Methods of education based on digital tools serve to enrich traditional education and increase its effectiveness. However, the formation of a methodological approach to the correct and effective use of these platforms is of great importance. This article discusses the theoretical
foundations and practical skills of using digital educational platforms.

The current era of digital transformation is posing new challenges for the education sector. The process of guiding students towards professions based on modern labor market requirements necessitates the improvement of a socio-pedagogical approach. In this process, the implementation
of innovative technologies, development of digital skills, and adaptation of the educational process to
the labor market are considered urgent issues. This article analyzes the factors that contribute to the
development of socio-pedagogical support for career guidance in the context of digital transformation.

This article analyzes international approaches to developing digital competence and examines the use of digital technologies in the education systems of different countries. Programs and strategies aimed at developing digital competence in the European Union, the United States, Singapore, China, India, and Uzbekistan are analyzed. The features and advantages of each country’s digital education policy are shown, as well as the differences and interdependencies between them. The efforts implemented within the framework of Uzbekistan’s “Digital Uzbekistan” program and  approaches to developing digital education are also highlighted.

In the context of the digitalization of modern society, the Internet occupies an important place in the lives of adolescents, influencing their cognitive activity, social connections, and personal development. At the same time, the productivity of interaction with the online environment is largely determined by the characteristics of self-regulation and the perception of personal responsibility. This paper focuses on the role of locus of control as a psychological mechanism that affects the nature and quality of Internet use. Adolescents with a pronounced internal locus of control generally demonstrate greater independence, critical thinking, and mindfulness while working with information, whereas the predominance of an external locus may lead to disorganized and dependent online behavior.
The study emphasizes the importance of fostering an internal locus of control in the process of upbringing and education, as this contributes to the development of a responsible attitude toward digital resources and the rational use of opportunities provided by the online environment.

The possibilities, advantages and areas of application of digital technologies in modern educational management are considered.
