Children left out of sight: international experience and practice of placing orphans

At present, the topic of deinstitutionalization of educational institutions for children without parental care is of particular relevance. Nevertheless, this practice is new for Uzbekistan, and in this regard, it is necessary to take into account all the features of the implementation of this process, to be able to objectively assess the advantages and difficulties arising for the state that implements this approach. This article provides statistical data on children left without parental care in various foreign countries, analyzes international experience in the practice of alternative forms of care, and reveals the current position of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding deinstitutionalization and its possible factors and consequences following the implementation of this position.At present, the topic of deinstitutionalization of educational institutions for children without parental care is of particular relevance.
