The development of anxiety disorders is closely linked to family environment, parenting styles and early attachment relationships. Negative emotions, stress and instability in the family increase the risk of anxiety disorders in children. Children who grow up with insecure attachment and lack of emotional support are more likely to experience anxiety in adulthood. Despite family influence, therapy, family and community support, and mental health awareness play an important role in overcoming anxiety disorders.
