Abstract
Strengthening the position of women in society is one of the priority goals facing the international community today. However, there are “painful” problems that hinder the achievement of these goals, and addressing them requires studying the socio-psychological characteristics of the issue.The article covers violence, its causes, and the socio-psychological characteristics
of women who have been subjected to violence. Methods for working with victims of violence are also provided for specialists
