This article is dedicated to the problems of gender equality in the family, natural and biological differences between the sexes, and their social aspects. One of the main principles of social stratification is also considered as the dominant and subordinate relationship between man and woman. Also, detailed explanations were given on the introduction in our country of a number of legally effective legislative acts aimed at ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, as well as improving the system for protecting the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of women and children, on the fact that the main task of parents in every family is to form in children an interest and inclination towards education.

This article analyzes the influence of parents on the upbringing of children in the modern period in a scientifictheoretical and practical way. On the basis of the influence of Information Technology, emotional communication, gender approach, sociological environment and international educational experience, the role of parents in the formation of a child’s personality is revealed. The educational impact of the school, makhalla and family in cooperation, educational methods and their effectiveness were analyzed and solutions were proposed based on a scientific approach to the pressing problems of modern education. The article also discusses the active participation of parents in the upbringing of children, problems and means of combating them on the basis of sociological surveys.
