Foreign experience with premarital medical examinations

Abstract

This article analyzes the global experiences of premarital medical examinations. The unique aspects, implementation mechanisms, and effectiveness of premarital medical examinations in the United States, Europe, Arab countries, Asia, and African nations are reviewed. The article highlights key approaches to identifying hereditary and infectious diseases, genetic counseling, and fostering healthy families. Additionally, recommendations are provided for implementing premarital medical examinations in Uzbekistan, considering national characteristics.
