Transforming Disengagement into Motivation: Educational Approaches from Abdulla Avloniy and Other Educational Thinkers
Abstract
This article examines practical methods for combining modern educational ideas with traditional pedagogical insights to turn student disengagement into motivation. Based on the writings of John Dewey, Lev Vygotsky, and Abdulla Avloniy, the study highlights the value of studentcentered learning, individualized education, and supportive learning settings. Avloniy’s moral and ethical philosophy, which is based on his groundbreaking book The Turkic Gulistan, or Ethics, emphasizes the value of hard work, self-control, and intentional education. Dewey’s experiential learning framework encourages active, introspective, and democratic classroom practices, whereas Vygotsky’s idea of the Zone of Proximal Development emphasizes the importance of guided social contact in learning. The article offers a comprehensive strategy for inspiring students and encouraging meaningful interaction in the classroom by combining various concepts.
