Violence against women and girls: its consequences and prevention mechanisms

This article analyzes the global situation of oppression and violence against women. The consequences of this problem are studied on the basis of information of the Unated Nations, the World Health Organization and other sources. It also highlights the RESPECT strategy to combat the violence against women and some mechanisms to counter this problem in the United States of America.
