Abstract

This article explores how changes in family structure can impact children’s psychological well-being. Specifically, it highlights the negative effects of parental divorce and living in a stepfamily on children, which manifest in economic, social, and psychological dimensions. For instance, after a divorce, children may face deprivation of financial, emotional, and time-related resources.
