Social protection in Uzbekistan: development, principles and reforms
Abstract
This article covers the social protection system formed in Uzbekistan during the years of independence, its main principles and directions. The role of state policy in the implementation
of the principles of support of underprivileged segments of the population, strengthening the family,
social justice has been analyzed. In addition, not only the economic, but also the legal and philosophical importance of social protection is revealed. A special place in the new Uzbekistan development strategy is given to the priority of human dignity and social justice.
