Comparative analysis of gender sustainability in the context of digitalization: Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries

Abstract

This article presents an in-depth analysis of the relationship between digitalization processes and the state of gender equality in Central Asian countries. It examines internet and mobile technology coverage, women’s participation in economic and social life, and their involvement in science and technology in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. The study employs a comparative and structural analysis based on the latest statistical data provided by international organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations, UNESCO, and DataReportal.
