Specific aspects of the concept of compromise in Western philosophical teachings: its evolutionary development
Abstract
In the Middle Ages, the concept of compromise occupied an important place in philosophical, religious and moral systems, and its content was significant in that it was aimed at ensuring peace, justice and harmony between people. During this period, the concept of compromise was mainly formed in the religious-philosophical, moral (balance in social relations), and political (means of resolving disputes) spheres. The evolutionary development of this concept was deepened by the interaction between different cultures and civilizations and was an important factor in the social stability of its time.
