Measures aimed at improving working conditions for women and overcoming the social problems of the “Womenomics” policy adopted by the government led by Shinzo Abe are discussed. The article also examines the importance of telecommuting opportunities for women under the “Work Style Reform” program, as well as mental health and social support programs, and highlights Japan’s success in involving fathers in child care.
